repetitive selection thin walls
The breakfast was underwhelming, especially for a multi-day stay. the selection felt limited and repetitive. I missed having some variety. also, the walls seemed thin. i often heard noises from adjacent rooms, which disrupted my sleep a few times. it wasn't a constant issue, but noticeable enough to be a bit annoying.

enchanting alfama stay..
quiet street river view great selection nice selection
the location was divine, nestled on a quiet pedestrian street so near the center, a romantic's dream! our river view room felt large and spacious, a perfect sanctuary. a great selection of restaurants nearby allowed many intimate dinners. the breakfast offered a really nice selection, filling me with warmth.
the room was not quite soundproof, and i could sometimes hear noises from adjacent rooms, a tiny disturbance.

The breakfast included a lot of fresh fruit and pastries, a sweet start to each day! i saw croissants and traditional portuguese custard tarts. the breakfast area was kept very clean. I was impressed, !!!

a sweet riverside haven
helpful staff good facilities clean room
the staff was helpful. they were very knowledgeable. facilities were also good and the location was perfect for exploring, i thought. breakfast selection included a continental spread that was replenished quickly. the room felt very clean and refreshed daily.
the bathroom at times had a slight sewer-like smell. it wasn't constant, but it did appear now and then.

excellent stay!
perfect location pleasant view complimentary coffee thoughtful touch
I found the hotel's location convenient. Everything i wanted to see was within walking distance. the room i had included a pleasant river view (it was very picturesque). the complimentary coffee in the lobby was a thoughtful touch, much appreciated as i headed out each morning.
the bathroom occasionally had a slight odor that i noticed upon arrival, though opening the balcony doors quickly resolved it.

the room felt quite spacious and comfortable (i really valued this after long days of exploring). the mattress seemed new, assuring restful sleep. i particularly enjoyed the view of the tejo estuary from my room.

sewage smell flimsy soap holder
The bathroom smelled like sewage. I aired out the room using the balcony doors but the smell persisted. The shower lacked a proper shelf. An flimsy soap holder did not work. Fresh towels and linens were only provided upon request. Otherwise they were not changed. Breakfast was simple. I wanted hot eggs. but there was only fruit cereal and cold cuts
